Another $30B from SoftBank. Up to $30B from NVIDIA.¹ Maybe more than $20B from Amazon. Several billion from Microsoft. Yes, OpenAI is back out there with the tin cup extended to bring in a few more bucks to build the future of AI.

The numbers, as relayed in two different stories, one from The Information and the other from The Financial Times, are sort of all over the place. But that's undoubtedly because the exact amounts are all still moving targets. Regardless, it's pretty clear that OpenAI is going to hit their $100B goal, and that they can probably raise even more if they choose to.
