Everyone seemingly wants to shoot the current AI messengers...
There are two camps. Either you're in the camp that thinks AI is absolutely the future of everything and anyone who says otherwise is a moron. Which includes the other camp: those that think that AI is the worst thing in the world and is going to ruin everything. There are varying degrees within those camps, of course – for example, the "Doomers" who think that not only is AI a problem, it could quite literally be the end of the world – but you're on some spectrum in one of those camps...
